Audi S8 Better World

The Audi S8 is a high performance version of the Audi A8, an executive car produced by German automaker Audi. It was introduced in 1998, four years after the introduction A8 to the European market. In the last quarter of 2005, Audi introduced the second generation of S8, powered by a 450 hp (340 kW) 5.2L V10 FSI engine derived from the 5.0-liter V10 used in the Lamborghini Gallardo. A larger bore and stroke increases the engine displacement produces more torque at low revs, making it suitable for larger and heavier Audi. Audi factory applications for performance of the S8 V10 indicate a 0-100 km / h in 5.1 seconds. This puts the S8 in a competitive field with Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG and S600 (powered by a V12 bi-turbo) BMW 760Li (powered by a naturally aspirated 12-cylinder) and firm-specific A8L W12.
